The situation facing the men, women and children trapped in Aleppo is a crime against humanity. Further atrocities and human rights abuses continue to be reported as medical aid and evacuation convoys are fired upon.

What urgent action can the EU take to alleviate the suffering of civilians in Aleppo, ensure access for humanitarian aid and address the grave breaches of international law taking place there?
