On its infringement decisions website, the Commission indicates that on 27 April 2017 it closed infringement case No 20142023 concerning the Aéroport du Grand Ouest project at Notre-Dame-des-Landes, France.

1. Has France provided a response on all the contentious issues raised in the letter of formal notice of 16 April 2014? How has the French State taken into account the reservation expressed by the competent environmental authority and reaffirmed by the committee of inquiry in November 2016 that the overall impact assessment of the airport project had still not been carried out as of that date?

2. Can the Commission guarantee that this project will comply with European law?

3. Can the Commission provide transparency on the exchanges between its services and the French State concerning this procedure?
