– Vor der Abstimmung über Ziffer 21:

  Pasqualina Napoletano (PSE). – Signor presidente, credo che il collega Tannock abbia ritirato il suo emendamento a favore di un emendamento orale che – mi riferisco al paragrafo 21 del testo francese – reciterebbe cosi: alla frase "aucun cas refouler une personne" si propone di aggiungere "demandeur d'asile vers un état où elle risque…".

Signor Presidente, con l'occasione invito il mio gruppo a votare a favore del testo finale perché sulla lista di voto c'è stato un errore.

  Charles Tannock (PPE-DE). – Mr President, I have not withdrawn the amendment that I submitted, but I would be prepared to do so in exchange for a change to that oral amendment adding words along the lines of ‘for the duration within which the asylum seekers are having their cases considered by the authorities’, because otherwise they could stay in our countries indefinitely.
