Zbigniew Zaleski (PPE).

Elmar Brok (PPE). - Mr[nbsp ]President, this is a technical question. We would like to delete the words ‘dual-track’ in the first sentence.

Elmar Brok (PPE). - Herr Präsident! Es ist so, dass es bei der selective justice nicht nur um den Fall Tymoschenko geht. Deswegen möchten wir hinzufügen: „ending selective justice including the imprisonment of Yuliya Tymoshenko because it is a broader issue“.

Jacek Saryusz-Wolski (PPE). - Mr President, I propose an oral amendment which was agreed by the Greens, S&D, PPE and ECR with ALDE free vote, which would insert into paragraph[nbsp ]22, after the words ‘serious European perspective’, the following words: ‘stresses furthermore that Article[nbsp ]49 TEU refers to all European States, including Ukraine, which may apply to become a member of the Union;’ and then the text goes on ‘provided that they adhere...ʼ and so forth.

If adopted this oral amendment would replace my written amendment. If not, my written amendment would be submitted to vote. I appeal to colleagues to send a positive signal to Ukraine by approving this oral amendment.

Krzysztof Lisek (PPE). - Mr President, on behalf of the PPE Group I would like to propose an oral amendment which is about energy cooperation; a very important issue. The amendment is as follows: ‘Stresses the importance of secure, diversified and affordable energy supply as a pillar of economic, social and political transition and of securing a competitive and prosperous economy for all Ukrainians; in this regard underlines the strategic role of the Energy Community, of which Ukraine holds presidency in 2014, as the only treaty currently connecting Ukraine and the European Union’.
