 Subject: Sustainable Development Strategy

What are the Council’s objectives and state of preparations for adoption of a broad-based new Sustainable Development Strategy comprising environmental, social and economic dimensions? How does the Council intend to ensure that the Lisbon Strategy and the Sustainable Development Strategy are properly coordinated with each other, and that more emphasis is given in the future to the qualitative aspect of economic growth?
