The STOA report entitled ‘Development of surveillance, technology and risk of abuse of economic information’ (PE 168.184/Part 3/4) gives cause for grave concern over the current situation in which communications may be tapped without a warrant.

 

What action does the Commission intend to take for the protection of private and commercial communications against eavesdropping without a warrant by Echelon, for example?
