Does the Commission have a breakdown of the social and industrial interests represented in its Register of Lobbyists? In particular, can it indicate the percentage of lobbyists representing consumer groups and/or employees’ organisations, as opposed to employers, industry and other special interest groups? If such a breakdown is not available, should the relevant work not be carried out in order to enable EU citizens to establish the existence of a ‘level playing field’?
