I have received many letters from concerned constituents with regard to killings of stray dogs in Romania. There are reasons to believe that stray dogs are systematically being killed without anaesthetic in Romania.

Can the Commission please say whether it has taken any action to solve the problems regarding Romania’s animal welfare?
