Parliamentary questions
1 February 2018
E-000615-18
Question for written answer
to the Commission
Rule 130
Liadh Ní Riada (GUE/NGL)

 Subject:  Electric pulse trawl fishing
 Answer(s)

Can the Commission comment on remarks by the fishing industry that there is an intention to remove the cap on electric pulse trawl licenses in the southern North Sea? Can it also clarify if it intends to honour the recent vote by Parliament for the technical measures legislation in plenary rejecting derogations for the allowed use of electric pulse trawl fishing?
