Taking into consideration the upcoming European elections in 2019, the subsequent election of the European Commission President and the Spitzenkandidat process introduced in 2014:

What is the official position of the Commission when it comes to the process of electing its President?

Does the Commission support the Spitzenkandidat process?

Does the Commission believe this process should be formally agreed upon and introduced into the Treaties?
