On behalf of the European Parliament, I condemn the Syrian regime for the abhorrent massacre in Houla. Our thoughts and condolences go to the families of the victims - many of whom are young children.

Schulz to pay official visit to Turkey - Monday and Tuesday (28 - 29 May) (Brussels ).

The President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz will pay a two-day official visit to Turkey on Monday and Tuesday (28 - 29 May). President Schulz will meet with the highest Turkish officials: President Gül, Prime Minister Erdoğan and Speaker Çiçek.
