The objective of the study is to provide an analysis of the Social OMC process at EU and national level, to highlight its strengths and weaknesses and to discuss proposals for improvement as emerging from internal assessments, academic debate and stakeholders' suggestions, focusing in particular on the present and possible future role reserved for the European Parliament.
