The Price of Non-Peace : The Need for a Strengthened Role for the European Union in the Middle East

As the authors'preface indicates, this document attempts to calculate the price of 'non-peace' in the Middle East. To this end, the authors have gathered information and data on events in the region, in particular between Israel and the Palestinians, from 1993 onwards. They also publish conversations they have had with peope with particular experience or understanding of these events. Transcriptions of these conversations provide a framework, and the work is structured in three chapters: Israel, the Palestinian Territories and the international organisations.
