The Purpose and Methodology of Evaluation in Regard to EU Agricultural Expenditure

This study was requested by the Committee on Budgetary Control. It examines current practice in regard to evaluation of EU agricultural expenditure, in particular the problems encountered. It analyses the purpose of such evaluation and the way in which it is being implemented and makes proposals for the future.
