Review of the Roaming Regulation

The study provides an analysis of policy options relating to the extension of the duration and the scope of the Roaming Regulation. In particular, the report reviews the effects that could be foreseen if the Regulation is not extended beyond 30 June 2010 and provides proposals for future price caps. It also looks at whether the scope of the Regulation should be broadened to cover short message services (SMS), multimedia messaging services (MMS) and other data roaming.
