Riina joined the European Parliament Press Service in 2005 dealing with press and also organised events for journalists. In 2009 Riina decided to broaden her experience by taking a career-break. She worked in the Estonian diplomatic service in London as well as the exciting world of corporate counter espionage. In January 2013 she rejoined the European Parliament to deal with TV and radio crews from all over the EU and the world.
Riina has always embraced new technologies and ways of communicating and feels that the decision-makers of the future are using social rather than traditional media to talk to each other. Policy makers should really be listening.
