2011 European Parliament Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought

Event Start: 03/11/2011 - 5:30pm
Event End: 03/11/2011 - 7:30pm

Location: Glasgow University, Wolfson Medical School Building, Seminar Room 2 (Hugh Fraser)

The Glasgow Human Rights Network and the EP Office in Edinburgh are organising a discussion event to promote the 2011 European Parliament Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought  at Glasgow University on 3 November 17.30-19.30.  The event will see students mirror the process by which MEPs will choose the winner of the Sakharov Prize, considering each of the nominees in turn before a debate and vote - and we will see if the choice in Glasgow is the same as the choice made in Brussels!

All are welcome - the event is free of charge and takes place at Location C8 on the Campus Map.
