Brexit and the EP: what it means for trade - 26/01/2017

Thursday, 26 January 2017 at Europe House London

Much uncertainty surrounds the type of trade deal the UK can and will secure with the EU post-Brexit and there is disagreement about the timing. Will talks start as soon as the Article 50 proceedings are triggered or will they have to await their conclusion? What are the procedures for an interim deal?

The European Parliament has to give its consent to any trade arrangement and this event will bring together political, academic and industry expertise from the finance and automotive sectors to weigh up the options and constraints ahead.
