Euroquiz Final 2016

18/05/2016

On 17th May 2016, talented P6 pupils from all over Scotland gathered at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh to compete to be crowned Euroquiz champions 2016. The teams that took part in the final had already done fantastically well, having each won one of the 31 heats held around the country from January to March. The Euroquiz tests pupils' knowledge of many different aspects of Europe, including history, geography, sport, culture, languages and the European Union. The standard in this year's competition was extremely high, making for a nail-biting final. In the final head-to-head round St. Mary's Primary School from Duntocher, West Dunbartonshire, were crowned champions beating runners up St. Margaret's from Dunfermline in Fife. Well done to all of the competitors - as well as their teachers - for the months of hard work that they have put in!
