Staff of the European Parliament Office In Scotland were in George Square, Glasgow, for the celebration of Europe Day on the 9th of May.
The team engaged with hundreds of members of the public about the role of the European Parliament and the importance of the upcoming elections. Materials about the European Elections were distributed and many resources were given to younger members of the public, including colouring books, maps, and pens. Our umbrellas proved very popular, especially when it rained during the event!

Various acts successfully promoted European diversity with a mixture of music and dance, and helped increase awareness of the European Elections and the European Parliament.
