On 29 October, Per Johansson, Head of the European Parliament Information Office in Edinburgh, met the first-year journalism students at Glasgow Clyde college.

He gave a talk on the role and the structure of the European Parliament, discussing the results of the latest European Elections and the goals of the new Parliament.

Students showed great interest and engaged well in the discussion, asking many questions about the European Parliament and the EU in general.
