Talk your way to Brussels

On 25 November 2010 pupils from six secondary schools from the Glasgow area took part in the third of four regional heats of the 2011 Speaking Competition. Organised by the Scottish European Educational Trust (SEET) it constitutes a great opportunity for pupils to debate and for winners and first runners up of each heat to participate in the final in Brussels.

'Talk your way to Brussels' competition was made possible thanks to the cooperation of organisers with Scotland Europa, the Scottish Government and IBM, while the visit of the European Parliament in Brussels is sponsored by David Martin, MEP.  Marta from the European Parliament Office in Scotland was happy to be part of the event.
