Euro Quiz Glasgow

The Scotland Office of the European Parliament joined forces with the European Movement Scotland on October 14th to organise a Euro pub quiz at the Glasgow University Union in Glasgow's West End. The participating teams were quizzed on their knowledge of all things Europe for five rounds, including a musical round featuring some foreign languages and musical MEPs, and a picture round that involved identifying famous people, coastlines, cityscapes and cuisine from across the EU.

In the end, the "Stupid Students" from Glasgow University's politics department lived up to their team name and finished last, while the "Eurostars" beat the "Murray's Minutes" team to first prize with 60.5 out of a possible 88 points, taking home the Glasgow Euro Quiz trophy that was generously donated to the competition by the European Movement Scotland.
