Twelve students from Modern Foreign Languages at Christ The King College Lewisham (London), who all speak at least two European languages, entered the Euroscola competition. They created amazing videos to present on the topics of Immigration and Brexit. They won the competition and won the trip to visit the European Parliament in Strasbourg on 16 May 2016. They represented the UK alongside representatives of 20 other countries.

The students made the most of this amazing experience. They worked in groups with students from other countries: they discussed, negotiated, debated and found an agreement in order to put forward a proposed solution to the Parliament. They enacted the roles of Members of Parliament by presenting their proposal, asking questions and voting the new policies.
They truly enjoyed the trip, made friends from all European countries and gained a fascinating insight into the world of international relations.
