Schulz in London, Internal Market Committee and Civil Liberties Committee Delegations

Whilst the majority of MEPs are back in their UK constituencies, a number of delegations is taking place.



President Schulz in London. The President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz will be in London later this week to meet with Prime Minister Theresa May, Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn and Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London. He will deliver a speech at the London School of Economics on "The EU and Britain – parting ways but working together". Visit LSE website to find out more.

Internal Market Committee delegation to the UK. European Parliament’s Internal Market and Consumer Protection Committee will visit the UK from 21 to 23 September 2016 in the context of the current overhaul of the EU type-approval rules for cars. Civil Liberties Committee delegation to Lebanon. Claude MORAES MEP will be leading the Civil Liberties Committee visit to Lebanon to look at the situation of refugees and resettlement (Monday to Friday). More information on the committee’s website.
