Paris Agreement, mobile roaming and Calais – this week at the European Parliament

The MEPs are travelling to Strasbourg for a plenary session. Paris Climate agreement, a debate on the situation in Calais and debate on mobile roaming are on the agenda.




Paris agreement. Following the Council's approval of the Paris Climate Agreement, the Parliament is set to give its consent to it on Tuesday at 11am BST.

Mobile roaming. Proposed “fair use” safeguards to prevent mobile phone users from taking unfair advantage of EU rules on zero roaming charges will be debated in plenary on Tuesday evening.

Calais. The situation in and around the informal migrant camp in Calais (France) is up for a debate on Tuesday afternoon. More than 7,000 asylum seekers and migrants are seeking to reach the UK.
