Highlights

Brexit/Erasmus. The Culture and Education Committee will discuss, with the Commission, contingency measures to ensure that people who are abroad on an Erasmus+ funded activity will not have their mobility period interrupted in the event of a no-deal Brexit on Monday.

European Solidarity Corps. The Culture and Education Committee will vote on the budget priorities for the 2021-2027 European Solidarity Corps programme. The programme would include humanitarian aid activities outside the EU and should allow at least 350 000 young Europeans to support communities in need through volunteering, traineeships and job placements on Monday.

Justice programme. The set-up of a new Justice, Rights and Values Fund is up for a vote by the Civil Liberties and Legal Affairs committees. It funds actions aiming to promote rule of law and judicial cooperation, as well as facilitating access to justice for everybody. MEPs' amendments widen the scope to include promotion of gender equality and support for lawyers working for civil society and for journalists on Monday.
