EU's Investment Plan and Data protection - this week in the European Parliament

MEPs return to Brussels on 22nd June for a mixed week of Committee meetings and plenary on Wednesday 24th June. The plenary is when Members of the European Parliament from all political groups and from all countries meet in the parliamentary chamber to discuss and vote on legislation.



EU's Investment Plan. The European Strategic Investment Fund, designed to leverage approx. £224 billion to boost the EU economy, will be up for a debate and a legislative vote in the plenary (Wednesday)

Data protection. Parliament's chief negotiators, Luxembourg and Latvian justice ministers and the EU justice Commissioner will meet to start negotiations on updating EU data protection rules. (Wednesday)
