MEPs return to Brussels on 15th June for a mixed week of Committee meetings, work in their constituencies or delegation visits.

Highlights

President of the European Parliament in London. EP President Martin Schulz will meet Prime Minister David Cameron and Foreign Affairs Minister Philip Hammond, among others, in London (Thursday).

Capital Markets Union. Recommendations on how to integrate EU capital markets in order to strengthen cross-border capital flows and improve access to finance for businesses, particularly SMEs, will be set out in a resolution to be voted by the Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee. (Monday)

Copyright. MEPs will give their input on a major EU copyright reform, which the Commission intends to unveil by the end of 2015.  Legal Affairs Committee MEPs will vote a draft resolution likely to address issues such as geoblocking, harmonising copyright rules and authors' remuneration. (Tuesday)
