Luxleaks & Tax evasion and Animal testing - Citizens' Initiative - this week in the European Parliament

MEPs return to Brussels on 11th May for a mixed week of Committee and Political Group meetings ahead of the Plenary next week.

Luxleaks & Tax evasion. A public hearing with journalists who helped to reveal what has become known as “Luxleaks”, as well as with other experts will be held by the Special Committee on Tax Rulings and other Measures similar in nature or effect. (Monday)

Animal testing - Citizens' Initiative . A public initiative to end animal testing for scientific purposes will be presented and debated with the MEPs in the Committe on Agriculture and Rural Development, Committee on Environment, Public Health and Food Safety, Committee on Industry, Research and Energy and Committee on Petitions. (Monday)
