Event End: 01/02/2011 (All day)

UACES will be holding a 2-day conference in London in 2011, to reflect upon the impact of the Lisbon Treaty in key areas of institutional, political, economic and legal integration. Using funds competitively won from the European Commission's Lifelong Learning Programme, the conference will consist of Plenary Sessions involving leading political figures in the EU, and Panel Sessions consisting of internationally renowned scholars of European integration, as well as 'new generation' scholars. As with all UACES events, the aim is to increase academic knowledge, greater cross-actor interaction and multi-disciplinarity. This specific event will also promote cross-society contact in its public debate of the Lisbon Treaty, adding to general and specialised knowledge on EU integration.
