The LSE European Institute and the European Parliament Information office in the UK and the UK Parliament jointly hosted this panel discussion at the LSE. The event was free and open to the public.

This event took place in the context of the European elections on 22nd May 2014 in the UK. The speakers examined the pros and cons of previous enlargements by the EU and considered possible impacts of current discussions about further enlargement.
