Committee Hearings & Workshops on Brexit

The European Parliament’s Committees have been organising various public hearings exploring the impact of Brexit on their policy areas. In the hearings, the committee chair first invites the panels of experts to deliver presentations on the subject, and then to participate in a Q & A session with the committee's MEPs.

These hearings are livestreamed via Facebook Live on our Facebook page or the European Parliament's webtv.

Workshop: Brexit and energy policy

16/05/2018

The Policy Department for Economic, Scientific and Quality of Life Policies organised a "Brexit and Energy Policy" workshop at the request of the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE). The workshop gave a general overview of the potential impacts of Brexit, considering the future EU energy policy and electricity/gas partnership with the UK after Brexit, as well as describing the effects of Brexit on Ireland and outlining the potential impact of the UK's withdrawal from Euratom.
