Edinburgh Festival of Politics Debate: Changing Politics in Europe

Starts: Starts: 17/08/2010 - 1:30pm
Ends: 17/08/2010 - 2:30pm

Scottish Parliament, Edinburgh, EH99 1SP (Committee Room 1)

The Lisbon Treaty entered into force on 1 December 2009.  For some, this Treaty was a mere tidying up exercise of the EU's legal framework; for others it constituted a decisive step towards a federal Europe.  Nine months on, a panel of leading European politicians from Scotland's four main political parties will debate who was right and whether, or how, the EU's newest Treaty is changing politics in Europe.
