How is your voice heard in the UK and European Parliaments?

The task

Aged 16-18? Send us a clip of you answering the question above in under 60 seconds to get your voice heard (and get some Parliament goodies).

The clips will be used as part of our Parliament Week publicity. They'll be used to tell people about the conferences for young people and the young people's crowdsourced White Paper being presented to the European Parliament next year. We will publish them on our social media profiles and our website. Just make sure you have permission to take part from your parent/guardian. We will of course credit you whenever we use your clip.

We're looking to hear from you

The European Parliament Information Office in the UK is taking part in Parliament Week this year. We are running two conferences aimed 16 to 18 year olds to discuss how the democratic institutions can serve young people better.

As part of this we want to hear from YOU!

What's in it for you?

Your voice will be heard. Parliament Week is an important time in the political calendar. There are numerous politicians listening to the voices of young people.

Goodies. We cannot promise cake, but we can promise a goodie bag with Parliament Week and European Parliament Information Office items. You can expect anything from notepads, badges, to maps, to usb sticks*.

The technicalities

Phones, tablets, cameras, professional equipment – they will all work as long as you submit a clip shorter than a minute and by 5th November.

It can be of you on your own or with friends.
