"We are facing the fight of the century." The Battle to stem climate change - London, 6th November 2015

The European Parliament has just overwhelmingly adopted the mandate for its delegation to COP21, the UN climate-change conference in December. In a resolution authored by MEP Gilles Pargneaux, the EP calls for a 40% cut in greenhouse gas emissions; 40% better energy efficiency and a 30% target for renewables by 2030.

Mr Pargneaux will be in London to discuss the stakes of the Paris Conference – what it means for economies and societies here in Europe and worldwide. He will be joined by other politicians and representatives of companies and non-profit green associations.

Everyone has a stake in this issue. Come and listen to the debate and join in the Q&A.
