Brexit and the EP: What it means for agriculture - Wales, 28 November 2017

Tuesday, 28 November 2017 at NFU Cymru, Agriculture House, Royal Welsh Showground, Llanelwedd, Builth Wells, Powys, LD2 3TU

The EU's Common Agricultural policy has influenced policy decisions affecting British agriculture since 1973. The debate will explore the impact of Brexit on the future of UK agriculture and food chains.

The result of the UK’s referendum on EU membership which took place on  23rd June 2016 and the triggering of Article 50, the official mechanism for starting the process of withdrawal from the European Union,   will have dramatic impacts on many aspects of the UK’s economy.

This free event  is open to all stakeholders and those of the general public who are interested in hearing various views on aspects of this in the field of Agriculture and the Environment. Please note that there is a £15 fee for entry to the Winter Fair.
