One of the most interesting aspects of EPLO's internship program is the opportunity it provides American interns to also train in the European Parliament. Upon completing their duties in Washington, interns can choose to travel to Brussels and work in a parliamentary committee. Interns who have taken part in this program say their time in Parliament gave them vauable insight into the EU perspective on governance. In a recent interview, Maurice Urbain, a summer 2014 EPLO intern currently interning in Parliament, gave us his take on legislative life in Brussels.
