Experience the European Parliament as never before. At our Visitors' Centre in Brussels, children and adults alike get to discover in a refreshingly new way more about the institution that represents them.
Dynamic, interactive multimedia displays guide our visitors through the journey of European integration and the impact this has on our everyday lives. The Centre caters to all 23 official languages of the European Union and admission is free. The facilities have been designed to make them fully accessible to those with special needs.
A stunning 360-degree digital surround screen takes visitors into the heart of European Parliament action. There we learn about the people who make it happen, the Members of Parliament. A touch screen application allows us to find out more about the MEPs, who are our democratically elected representatives.
We take a virtual trip through Europe, finding out along the way what contribution the European Union has made to each of the Member States. We also hear accounts by fellow Europeans of what the Union means to them.
The tunnel of voices immerses us in Europe's multilingual heritage and 3D tactile models allow us to explore the European Parliament in its three places of work - Brussels, Strasbourg and Luxembourg.
One of the Centre's unique features is that it caters for all 23 EU official languages. This is made possible using small, handheld, media guides that can be configured according to language preference.
These media guides display information and short films at each stage of the visit. Each guide can be adapted with special features for children and there is also enhanced audio software for visitors with special hearing needs. Staff are on hand at each level should you need assistance.
The Centre is designed for adults and children of all ages. Special 1-hour tours have been created for 8-14 year olds and each stage of the visit caters for children. Children will receive their own handheld media guides to use free of charge.

Guide dogs are also permitted.
