The IPEX future in the spotlight

The agenda of the IPEX Board meeting included the presentation of the functionalities of the new IPEX website, the cooperation with the Commission and the Council and a discussion on the initiative of the Conference of the Speakers of the EU Partliaments for establishing standards for digital data and documents. Participants also discussed the 2010 IPEX report to the Secretaries-General of the national Parliaments and the nomination of the new IPEX Board. The IPEX Board meeting took place on 15 November.

The following day, on 16 November, the IPEX Correspondents held their own meeting. Among others, participants were split into three Working Groups to discuss the use of symbols n IPEX, the type and scope of documents uploaded on its website and the future role of the IPEX Correspondents. The results of these discussions were presented later in the day.
