How can demographic development be compatible with social cohesion in Europe?

  

 

The European Parliament and both chambers of the Polish Parliament, the Sejm and the Senate, are jointly organising the next Joint Parliamentary Meeting  on "Social Cohesion and Demographic Development in a Sustainable Europe". It will take place on 5-6 December 2011. 

The debates will be held in consecutive panels rather than working groups, thus giving the MPs and MEPs the opportunity to follow and to contribute to all parliamentary discussions.The panels will focus on: economic and budgetary impact of the demographic change; Social cohesion and regional development; and social and equality aspects of employment and demographic trends.
