Members of the European Parliament and of the National Parliaments of the European Union and candidate countries will gather on 20 and 21 November in Strasbourg for a new Joint Parliamentary Meeting (JPM). This time the topic to deal with will be Energy and Sustainable Development.

Different issues are in the agenda of this JPM:

Europe's energy policy and security of supply;

Energy innovation and sustainable development;

European energy policy, Climate change and International negotiations.

These issues will be dealt by working groups and presented to the plenary.
