Дадена комисия може да вземе решение да организира командировка в държава членка, в държава извън ЕС или за международна конференция. Командировките се предприемат в рамките на упражняването на правомощията, дадени на комисиите, и се състоят от ограничен брой членове на комисията. Комисиите могат също така да изпращат за не повече от три дена тричленни делегации в агенции, които по принцип попадат в тяхната сфера на отговорност. From 18 to 20 December 2023, twelve MEPs will travel to Barcelona, Spain, to engage with residents and representatives of the regional authorities, with the aim of assessing the language immersion model in Catalonia.

A delegation of AFET Members traveled to the UK from 18 to 19 September 2023. This was the first time that the committee traveled to the UK since 31 January 2020 when the United Kingdom officially left the EU. The AFET delegation discussed possibilities for strengthened partnership and deepening dialogue on issues of importance in relevant areas of bilateral cooperation, including in foreign and security affairs.
An ad hoc INTA delegation participated at the WTO Public Forum and 52th session of the Steering Committee of the Parliamentary Conference on the WTO on 14 and 15 September in Geneva.
A delegation of AFET members traveled to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan from 21 to 25 August 2023. The AFET delegation discussed the regional developments and the potential for closer cooperation in the current challenging geopolitical context, including the impact of Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine and the introduction of EU sanctions on Russia.
