Members from the Special Committee on Foreign Interference went to Riga on 24 May to meet officials from the NATO Strategic Communication Centre, ahead of the Riga StratCom Dialogue, which took place on 25 and 26 May. The event gathered the strategic communications community in the aftermath of Russian aggression.

The ING2 mission to Riga enabled Members to meet with the NATO Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence, to further strengthen the excellent contacts already established in INGE I. The purpose of the mission was to inform on the INGE I recommendations and exchange in-depth on the current state of threats and challenges faced by EU and NATO members. In addition, the mission enabled the ING2 Members to attend the Riga StratCom Dialogue 2022 on 25 May, giving the possibility to engage with experts and policy-makers in the area of foreign information manipulation and interference, specifically in the context of Russia's war against Ukraine.

Mr Raphaël Glucksmann (Chair), Mr Morten Løkkegaard (Vice-Chair), Ms Sandra Kalniete (Rapporteur), Mr David Lega and Ms Heidi Hautala will represent the ING2 Special Committee.
