On 14 July, ENVI Members exchanged views with Professor Petteri Taalas, World Meteorological Organisation (WMO) Secretary-General who presented the latest WMO report on the State of the Global Climate in 2020.

On 14 July, the ENVI Committee held an exchange of views on the 'Fit for 2030' package with the European Commission Executive Vice-President for the European Green Deal, Mr Frans Timmermans.

On 12 and 14 July, the ENVI Committee Members exchanged views with the Slovenian Presidency Ministers for Health, Agriculture and Environment.

On 12 July, ENVI Members will vote on amendments for an opinion on Protecting workers from asbestos as well as on Cross-border threats to health. On 13 July, the ENVI Committee will cast final votes on the Health Technology Assessment (HTA) provisional agreement, the Protecting workers from asbestos and the Cross-border threats to health files.

On 14 and 15 June, the ENVI Committee Members voted on the adoption of the General Union Environment Action Programme to 2030.

On 15 June, the ENVI Members exchanged views with the Commission on the proposal for a regulation on sustainable batteries.

On 14 June, the Director-General of DG Trade, Sabine Weyand, participated in an exchange of views on the ENVI-related aspects of the Commission Communication titled “Trade Policy Review - an Open, Sustainable and Assertive Trade Policy”.
