On 9 April, SANT Committee Members held an exchange of views with Dr Gauden Galea, Strategic Adviser to the WHO Regional Director, on the High-Level Meeting of the UN General Assembly on the prevention and control of noncommunicable Diseases (HLM4).

On Wednesday, 9 April 2025, the SANT Committee jointly with the FEMM Committee held a hearing on “Hearing on Chemical Submission: non-consensual administration of psychoactive substances“.

On 20 March, SANT Members held a structured dialogue with Olivér Várhelyi, Commissioner for Health and Animal Welfare.
