On Tuesday 15 March 2022, the ENVI Committee held an exchange of views with the Commission and the European Medicines Agency on the upcoming draft implementing act reserving certain antimicrobials for human use. This implementing act follows the adoption of the regulation on Veterinary medicinal products, alongside the delegated act concerning antimicrobials to be reserved for the treatment of human infections.

ENVI members voted on the draft report on the amount of allowances to be placed in the market stability reserve for the Union greenhouse gas emission trading scheme, Rapporteur Cyrus Engerer (S&D). The Committee also considered the motion for a resolution on an objection to the RPS measure as regards maximum residue levels for flutianil in or on certain products.
