At the next INTA meeting on 30 November and 1 December, the Commission will brief Members on the recently concluded negotiations on the EU-Angola Sustainable Investment Facilitation Agreement that is expected to expand investments and includes also sustainable development commitments.

At its next meeting on 14 November, the INTA Committee will discuss the Commission's proposal to provide EUR 18 billion in financial assistance to Ukraine for the year 2023. The "MFA+" proposal is intended to help Ukraine cover its high funding needs to maintain essential state functions, ensure macroeconomic stability, and rehabilitate critical infrastructure destroyed by Russia’s war.

On 24 and 25 October, the INTA Committee will discuss future steps towards WTO reform and the broader follow-up to the 12th WTO Ministerial Conference (with Commission Director-General Sabine Weyand and other speakers). Members will also scrutinise the Commission's activities to implement and enforce EU trade policy. In addition, the INTA meeting will touch upon the planned modernisation of the Energy Charter Treaty, trade and gender and forced labour.
