2-3 December: Mercosur, Draghi Report, Mauritius Convention, Pacific States, GCC

At their 2-3 December meeting, INTA Members will vote on whether Parliament should give its consent to the Council decision on the conclusion, on behalf of the Union, of the UN Convention on transparency in treaty-based investor-State arbitration – also known as "Mauritius Convention on Transparency".

Members will also vote on whether to consent to the accession of Tuvalu, Niue and Tonga to the Interim Partnership Agreement between the EC and the Pacific States.

A public hearing on the trade aspects of the Draghi Report will take place on 3 December in the afternoon.

Denis Redonnet, Chief Trade Enforcement Officer, will present the annual report on the Implementation and Enforcement of EU Trade Policy.

Members will exchange on the EU-Mercosur agreement, amid talks of a potential conclusion of the agreement.

Members will hold a joint debate on gender and disability rights in trade policies as part of the "gender mainstreaming week" and the "disability rights week" organised across different committees.

Members will exchange views on the recent judgments of the Court of Justice on the EU-Morocco Trade Agreements, on recent trade developments in relations with the Gulf Cooperation Council as well as on trade-related aspects of the strategic dialogue on the future of EU agriculture.
