INTA will hold two separate committee meetings on 7 December and 10 December. The INTA meeting on 7 December will be fully dedicated to the public hearing on how trade policy measures can help the EU achieve the goals it set for itself in the Green Deal.

To discuss with MEPs, INTA has invited several external speakers to shed light on how trade policy could be an enabler towards a climate-neutral, resource-efficient and circular global economy and support the achievement of the Green Deal and Sustainable Development Goals.
On 10 December, the Members will discuss the trade agreement between EU and Mercosur, as well as hold an exchange of views on the recently concluded Pan-Asian Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) agreement.
INTA will also vote on its opinion on a WTO-compatible EU carbon border adjustment mechanism.
